Cruise operator Carnival Corp. has raised its annual profit forecast after topping analysts' expectations in the second quarter.
Adjusted share earnings were 35 cents, beating estimates of 24 cents. Revenue of $6.3 billion was ahead of projections of $6.2 billion.
For the full year, Carnival now expects adjusted earnings per share of $1.97. That's up from $1.83 previously.
