Former Nissan Motor Co. Chairman Carlos Ghosn made his first public statement since his arrest more than a month ago.
"I have been wrongly accused and unfairly detained," he said, speaking in a Tokyo courtroom in handcuffs.
Ghosn was charged with understating his compensation in the company’s financial reports.
