The Jolie-Pitt Foundation and Springfield businessmen Doug Pitt and Jim D. Morris on March 31 announced the creation of the Care To Learn Fund.

The fund will provide support for schools to meet students’ basic needs, including hunger, health and hygiene. On hand for the presentation are: Nancy Fazzino, executive director of the Foundation for Springfield Public Schools; Pitt, a SPS Foundation Advisory Council member; Morris; and Tony Shalloup, SPS Foundation board president.

The Jolie-Pitt Foundation and Morris have agreed to contribute $3 for every dollar raised for the fund. [[In-content Ad]]
