Project description: An over 20,000-square-foot building is being renovated into a headquarters that can support the expanding mission of Care to Learn, a nonprofit that partners with schools to fill emergent health, hunger and hygiene needs for students, according to the organization’s website. The facility is designed to include administrative and chapter services offices, warehouse space and a flexible volunteer hub for assembling care packages and hosting service activities, project officials say. There is also a volunteer kitchen and outdoor courtyard for events.
