The Torrance, Calif.-based magazine took more than 3,000 votes from industry experts and insiders to rank 50 retailers across the country. Car-Fi took seventh place with 74 votes. First place went to Crutchfield the Store in Virginia, which received 115 votes.
“It’s great to be nationally recognized for the excellence in products and service we provide to customers,” Car-Fi founder and President Rick Snelson said in a news release. “We’ve been saying it for years, but the fact that these awards came as Car-Fi is celebrating 21 years of business in Springfield makes it even better.”
Car-Fi next will submit materials for final judging to determine the overall Retailer of the Year. Finalists will be divided into categories based on chain size, and a winner will be named in each category.
The magazine also ranked the country’s top 100 installers, with Car-Fi’s Jay Enge in ninth place with 53 votes. He will go on to compete for Installer of the Year.
The winners will be announced March 15 at the Mobile Electronics Industry Awards in Louisville, Ky.[[In-content Ad]]
