The New England Confectionery Co., known for candies such as Necco Wafers and Sweethearts, is going up for auction today.
At least four bidders are expected to make offers on the manufacturer.
The bidding will begin at $15 million, according to Harry Murphy, court-appointed trustee for New England Confectionery's bankruptcy proceedings.
