Canadian agriculture technology firm Ostara Nutrient Recovery Technologies Inc. raised $70 million to help finance an expansion in St. Louis.
The company, which has created technology to repurpose nutrients from water treatment plants to make fertilizer, is building a new facility in north St. Louis.
Investors in the funding round included Carica Sustainable Investments and Forage Capital Partners.
