Campus growth leads to new MSU architect position

Posted online
Missouri State University architect Douglas Sampson has been named to the newly created position of university architect and director of campus planning.

The position was established because of a need for a clear focus on campus and facilities planning and development as the school expands, according to an MSU news release.

Sampson will be responsible for developing long-range plans and facilities standards, and programming and design of all construction projects.

Sampson’s current job, which oversees MSU’s office of design and construction, will be advertised and filled in the next few months, according to the release.[[In-content Ad]]
