Campus Debut

Ozarks Technical Community College on Aug. 13 launched the start of its first full school year at its Richwood Valley Campus in Ozark. More than 800 students are expected to enroll for the fall semester at the Ozark campus, which had about 500 students for the spring semester. Below, Rebecca Richey, a Richwood Valley student from Nixa, gives a student’s perspective on the new facility.

Among the event speakers was OTC President Hal Higdon, top right. Other local dignitaries at the event included state Reps. Jay Wasson and Ray Weter, Christian County Presiding Commissioner John Grubaugh, OTC Vice President for Institutional Advancement Cliff Davis and area historian Wayne Glenn.
