California voters on Tuesday passed a redistricting measure designed to combat similar efforts in Republican-led states.
Voters were asked to approve new congressional district lines designed to favor Democrats for the 2026, 2028 and 2030 elections, according to the Los Angeles Times.
Gov. Gavin Newsom is reportedly asking other states to pass similar legislation.
