California outspending federal government to market ACA

The state of California is spending more money than the federal government on efforts to market the Affordable Care Act.

USA Today reports Covered California, the state's ACA exchange, is devoting $45 million to ads.

Comparatively, the U.S. government slashed its ad spending to $10 million from $100 million last year.
