California Gov. Gavin Newson rejected Pacific Gas and Electric's bankruptcy reorganization plan.
Newsom called the $13.5 billion settlement the utility company reached with wildfire victims "woefully short." He said proposed changes do not "provide safe, reliable and affordable services to its customers."
PG&E filed for bankruptcy in Janaury over liabilities related to California wildfires in 2017 and 2018.
