California-based agriculture firm Pivot Bio Inc. has opened a new production facility in the St. Louis area.
The 48,000-square-foot facility in Hazelwood is designed to manufacture the company's products that serve as a replacement to synthetic fertilizers for crops, according to the St. Louis Business Journal.
St. Louis has been an operational hub for Pivot for several years.
