Ozarks Technical Community College is offering two non-credit MS-DOS computer short courses: Understanding MS-DOS, which will run 6-7:30 p.m. Mondays, March 30 through May 18; and Intermediate MS/PC DOS, which will meet 7:30-9:30 p.m. Mondays, March 30 through May 18. TUESDAY, MARCH 31

The Springfield-Greene County League of Women Voters and the Springfield PTA are sponsoring a public forum to better inform voters about the views of the five candidates running for the April 7 Board of Education election. The forum will be held at 7 p.m. at Hillcrest High School, 3319 N. Grant.

"Forklift Safety: Train the Trainer" will be held 8 a.m.-3 p.m. at the Holiday Inn North. This seminar will focus on the new OSHA forklift standards, 1910.178(1), which go into effect in 1998. WEDNESDAY, APRIL 1

Finance for Non-Financial Managers will be held 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. at the Clarion Hotel. Participants will learn how to read and interpret financial statements, how to use the information to make decisions and how to evaluate a company's financial performance. The cost is $195. Women Investors Network will hold its monthly luncheon meeting at Clary's American Grill. The program is on durable power of attorney. The cost of the meal is

Priority and the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce will sponsor a Business-to-Business Connection, noon-1:30 p.m. in the Bill Foster Room North of the chamber building. Dynamic Communication and Interpersonal Skills for Managers will be held 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. at the University Plaza Hotel. FRIDAY, APRIL 3

The eighth annual Workers' Compensation Seminar will be held at Hammons Heart Institute. Topics include: medical legal evidence, deposition of physicians, aggravation of pre-existing disease, second-injury fund, impairment and disability ratings, Social Security offset and case law updates.
