How to Write a Business Plan The Path to Success, presented by the Small Business Development Center at SMSU, will be held 6-9 p.m. today and Jan. 13 at SMSU's Glass Hall, West Entrance. Instructors Rayanna Anderson and Linda Gerardo, both consultants with the Small Business Development Center, will provide a nuts-and-bolts approach to the business planning process. The fee for this six-hour class is $115 per person, $65 for a second person from the same business. The $115 fee includes a copy of Rhonda Abram's book, "The Successful Business Plan: Secrets and Strategies," a $27.95 value. To register, call 836-5685.

Financial Management for Small Business A Series for Nonaccountants and Nonfinancial Managers, presented by the Small Business Development Center at SMSU, is held 6-9 p.m. today, Jan. 20 and Jan. 27. The courses will be taught by Small Business Development Center consultants Rayanna Anderson and Linda Gerardo. Today's seminar is Understanding Financial Statements. How to Control Cash Flow will be held Jan. 20, and Predicting Future Cash Needs will be held Jan. 27. The three seminars can be taken individually or as a series. Basics of Starting a Business is a four-session course offered by Ozark Technical Community College's continuing education office. Class are held 6:30-8:30 p.m. Mondays, Feb. 7 through March 6 at OTC's North Town Mall Center. The cost is $48. Call 895-7180 for more information or to register.
