Fire Safety: Planning, Protection & Response will be held 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Safety Council of the Ozarks. The purpose of the course is to provide a basic understanding of issues such as fire hazards, emergency planning, response and evacuation.

Emergency Planning & Preparedness will be held today at the Safety Council of the Ozarks from 1-5 p.m. This program will cover possible emergencies in the workplace and development of an emergency response plan.

Women & Money: Issues, Opportunities and Choices will be presented by Waddell & Reed 5-7 p.m. at Walnut Street Grind, 1041 E. Walnut. The seminar deals with women investing money and working with money management.

The Springfield Area Human Resources Association will hold its monthly meeting 4-6:30 p.m. in the University Plaza Illinois and Colorado Ballrooms.
