Caesars Entertainment Inc. is offering 30 million shares to raise cash for corporate purposes.
Proceeds potentially would go toward the previously announced possible cash offer for William Hill Plc. Caesars officials have said the company is in advanced talks to buy the U.K. betting company for $3.7 billion.
Deutsche Bank and JPMorgan Chase are serving as the underwriters for the stock offering.
