According to a school news release, Liberty Publishing, also called All-Star Publishing, is contacting area businesses to sell advertising on behalf of the college. The company is telling advertisers that part of the proceeds will be contributed to the school.
“College of the Ozarks is not associated with Liberty Publishing and has no arrangement with it to receive contributions,” the school stated in the release. “Individuals who receive calls from this publishing company should be wary.”
Individuals or businesses who receive calls are asked to report the incidents to the Taney County Sheriff’s Department at (417) 546-7250.

Under construction beside the existing Republic branch of the Springfield-Greene County Library District – which remains in operation throughout the project – is a new building that will double the size of the original, according to library officials.
