A buyer is being sought for the 110-year-old Union Depot property in Joplin.
Supporters of the historic property are launching a national marketing effort in an attempt to find an interested party.
“Over the decades, several attempts have been made to restore the depot including as a shopping center, arts center and more, and though those efforts were admirable they did not come to fruition,” said Jill Sullivan, executive director of the Post Art Library and chair of Joplin’s Historic Preservation Commission.
