U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg on Monday announced federal funding for the St. Louis-area MetroLink system.
The Federal Transit Administration is awarding nearly $28 million to Bi-State Development, which operates the MetroLink.
The funding is designed to help the MetroLink recover from flood damage last year.
