Butler, Rosenbury & Partners Inc. is the engineer and architect for College Station LLC’s College Station development at the north corner of College Street and Campbell Avenue. The project has an estimated cost of $17 million, and College Station LLC is acting as its own general contractor. The development is designed to fit into the historic character of downtown Springfield and to provide a modern entertainment and shopping venue. It also will include a parking deck. Wallace Theater Holdings Inc. was announced Aug. 26 as the first tenant for College Station, with plans to open a 54,000-square-foot, 14-screen, first-run movie theater, set to open in fall 2006.
