Businesspeople named Champion Athletes board officers

Four businesspeople have been named officers of the Champion Athletes of the Ozarks Board of Directors.

The organization, which aids children and adults with disabilities in the Ozarks, works to build the self-esteem, social and work skills of individuals through education, sports training and competition, according to a news release.

The new officers are:

  • President Amy Rinne, business analyst with Tracker Marine Group;
  • Vice President Dan Schumacher, owner of Millwood Golf and Racquet Club;
  • Treasurer Stephen Evans of Evans Wealth Planning LLC; and
  • Secretary Mike DeArmon, attorney with Neale and Newman LLP.

Funded through community donations, athletic programs are offered to children and adults with disabilities at no cost, the release said.
