The Association of Fundraising Professionals Ozarks Region Chapter is scheduled to present a handful of awards to businesses, individuals and nonprofits.
Slated to be given out Nov. 17 at Highland Springs Country Club, the awards honor philanthropic service during the organization’s National Philanthropy Day presentation, according to a news release.
The award winners include:
• Springfield ReManufacturing Corp, Outstanding Philanthropic Business of the Year;
• Bobby Allison, Outstanding Philanthropist of the Year;
• KOLR-10, Outstanding Media Organization of the Year;
• Denise Gibson of Ozarks Food Harvest, Outstanding Philanthropic Fundraising Professional of the Year;
• Community Foundation of the Ozarks’ Give Ozarks Day, Outstanding Campaign of the Year;
• the Marshfield Area Community Foundation, Outstanding Philanthropic Foundation of the Year;
• Sigma Kappa-Delta Upsilon at Missouri State University; Outstanding Young Philanthropist of the Year; and
• Donny and Char Harrell, Outstanding Volunteer Fundraisers of the Year.
During the event, the Ozarks Health Advocacy Foundation also will present its Child Health Advocate of the Year award to Kimberly Michelsen of The Victim Center, according to the release.
Logistics company Premier Truck Group is building a new truck sales and repair facility in Strafford, using precast contract, metal framing, thermoplastic polyolefin roofing and standing-seam metal in its construction.
