Business students compete at Evangel

Posted online
More than 1,000 business students from 51 area high schools will be at Evangel University March 4–6 competing in three Future Business Leaders of America district competitions.

Written and oral competitions in 30 business categories are a culmination of tests that began last week at each school’s home site.

First- and second-place winners in the written test categories and first-place winners in the speech and interview segments will qualify for the 2008 State FBLA Competition April 20–22 in Columbia. State winners will compete for the national championship in June in Atlanta.

FBLA membership is at an all-time high in Missouri with 14,447 student members, according to a news release. Missouri has 393 local chapters.
