Business regulatory board holds Springfield hearing

Springfield’s small-business owners are invited to speak about the development of state rules and regulations at a public hearing Oct. 2.

The Small Business Regulatory Fairness Board will conduct a meeting at 10 a.m. at the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce, 202 S. John Q. Hammons Parkway, followed by the public hearing at 1 p.m.

Members of the public may attend the hearing to comment on the promulgation, enforcement and review of rules and regulations that affect small businesses.

To speak, attendees must register by Sept. 28 by filling out a form on the board’s Web site, www.sbrfb.ded.mo.gov, sending an e-mail to SBRFB@ded.mo.gov or calling (866) 719-1401.

Testimony also may be submitted in written form before the hearing. All statements should be e-mailed to SBRFB@ded.mo.gov.

All testimony will be included in the board’s annual report to Missouri Gov. Matt Blunt.

Small businesses are defined as those having 100 or fewer employees.[[In-content Ad]]
