Business community responds to Indiana's 'religious liberty' law

When Indiana Gov. Mike Pence signed into law on Thursday a bill that allows businesses to refuse to do business with gay people, he called it a victory for "religious liberty," according to CNNMoney.
 
The response from the business community was swift and negative, the report states. Stating the law is unnecessary because Indiana doesn't have laws prohibiting discrimination against gays, companies also say the new law will make it harder to attract business and employees to the state.
 
Companies and organizations that disapprove of the law include the Indiana Chamber of Commerce, Eli Lilly, the NCAA, GenCon, Salesforce and Yelp, all of which issued statements of concern regarding the controversial law.
