Busch siblings make offer to buy Grant’s Farm

Posted online
Four Busch siblings offered $26 million to buy Grant’s Farm, the former family estate in St. Louis that's now home to over 100 species of animals.

Beatrice Busch von Gontard, Peter Busch, Trudy Busch Valentine and Andy Busch said they want to buy the farm to preserve it as an "iconic St. Louis treasure."

The Busch siblings - including Billy Busch - own the farm via a trust but have been divided on its future.

Last month, the Saint Louis Zoo withdrew its $30 million offer to buy it, citing protracted litigation between the Busch family siblings.

Anheuser-Busch, part of Belgium-based Anheuser-Busch InBev, currently leases the farm from the Busch Family Real Estate Trust as a seasonal public attraction.
