Kansas City-based engineering, architecture and construction firm Burns & McDonnell named its next chief financial officer.
Alissa Schuessler, an employee since 2005 who is currently vice president of the company's finance group, is slated to become CFO on Jan. 1. She'll succeed Denny Scott, who's retiring at year's end.
“From one perspective, it’s the longevity with the firm,” Schuessler said. “I’ve spent the majority of my career at Burns & McDonnell. I’ve learned a lot about the business and how we work and operate."
