After a test in St. Louis in April, Burger King is launching its Impossible Whopper nationwide.
The plant-based burger's sales were complementary to the regular Whopper, a spokesperson for Burger King parent company Restaurant Brands International said.
Chris Finazzo, president of Burger King North America, said the product is designed to "give somebody who wants to eat a burger every day, but doesn't necessarily want to eat beef everyday, permission to come into the restaurants more frequently."
