Burger King parent company incentivizes franchisees

Restaurant Brands International, Burger King's parent company, is issuing some $70 million in cash advances and rebates to North American franchisees.

The company also is offering rent deferrals to franchisees of Burger King and Tim Hortons.

Officials cited efforts to incentivize franchisees amid the coronavirus pandemic and its impact on restaurants.
