Bumsteads Hit Hammons Field

Tom Dapp, a market partner with Dagwoods Sandwich Shoppes LLC, joins Blondie and Dagwood Bumstead and Louie at Hammons Field on June 21, when Dagwood’s Sandwich Shoppes sponsored the Springfield Cardinals’ game. In the “Blondie” comic strip that ran that day, Dagwood had tickets to a Springfield Cardinals game. Dapp and his wife, Joanne, have plans to sell more than 60 Dagwood Sandwich Shoppes franchises in Springfield, Joplin and Kansas City.
