Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway sees earnings rise to $6.4B in 2Q

Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway Inc. reported second-quarter net income of $6.4 billion, up from $4.5 billion a year earlier.

According to Fox Business, results included $1.96 billion in investment gains.

Buffett has run Berkshire since 1965, and according to Forbes magazine is the world's third-richest person. He turns 84 on Aug. 30
