Billionaire investor Warren Buffett announced he would donate $5.3 billion worth of Berkshire Hathaway stock to charity.
Five foundations will receive the stock, including $4 billion worth of shares to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Trust.
Buffett has pledged to donate 99% of his wealth.
