Buffett-backed group makes bid for Yahoo

A group backed by investor Warren Buffett is among several suitors moving into the second round of bidding for Yahoo.

Buffett is partnering with Dan Gilbert, the founder of Quicken Loans and owner of the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway is offering financing and leaving the negotiations up to Gilbert, according to The New York Times.
