The Tampa Bay Buccaneers ended its roughly six-year vendor contract with Aramark Sports & Entertainment Services LLC (NYSE: ARMK).
Aramark signaled it would lay off all of the 919 workers it employs at the stadium by Feb. 28.
Officials with the Buccaneers say the employees likely will be rehired by the new provider. Buccaneers Chief Operating Officer Brian Ford said the football team already selected a new vendor, which he declined to name.
