Bryan Properties Employee Spotlight

Posted online

You’ll find Travis Branstetter in the fresh air most days. As project manager for Bryan Properties, he’s the company’s on-site eyes and ears, making sure construction crews “are staying on schedule, and on budget,” he says.
It’s an especially busy time for the 32-year-old Branstetter. Bryan Properties is in the midst of an unprecedented building boom:
In Rogers, Ark., the company is building The Bend on Promenade, luxury living in one of the fastest-growing regions in the U.S. The Bend will feature 160 apartments.
Ozark is about to welcome River Ranch, a top-tier multifamily development with more than 200 doors.
In Lebanon, Bryan Properties is growing its existing apartment community — The Timbers — by adding 64 additional apartments in a city in need of more top-quality housing.
And in south Springfield, the company is building the Element by Westin on Battlefield, a hotel located just west of National Avenue, at the gateway to Springfield’s Medical Mile. Half of the Element is an extended-stay hotel; the other 55 rooms will be nightly rentals.
“I spend one day dedicated to one project at a time,” Branstetter says. ‘I’m there to help and answer anything the site superintendent needs.”
Branstetter just finished overseeing a massive project for Bryan Properties: Heitz House, the new residence hall at Missouri State University. It’s the university’s first residence hall public-private partnership.
Branstetter has learned patience as a project manager. “All projects take a lot of time and dedication from the development, leasing, and construction teams,” he says. “The best part is working with all those great people, and seeing your hard work pay off with the finished product.”
