Retailer Brookstone filed for bankruptcy with plans to close its remaining 101 mall stores.
Known for massage chairs, quirky gadgets and travel luggage sold in malls and airports, Brookstone reported liabilities totaling up to $500 million and assets between $50 million and $100 million.
Brookestone’s product line has included popular items such as Big Blue Bluetooth speakers, Nap weighted blankets and Rock & Recline Shiatsu massage chairs.
