Project description: The Broadway Cottage Housing Development of the Drew Lewis Foundation Inc. is designed as a pocket-neighborhood concept that will bring a fresh take on compact, community-focused living, project officials say. It includes 14 cottage-style homes facing a shared courtyard, a configuration that is designed to enhance walkability, foster connection and make efficient use of urban land. The project supports the city of Springfield’s goals for attainable housing and neighborhood revitalization, officials say.
