Broadcom divests security platform

Broadcom Inc. announced it's selling application security testing platform Veracode for $950 million to private equity firm Thoma Bravo.

Broadcom picked up Veracode in its purchase of software security company CA Technologies.

CA initially bought Veracode in 2017 for $614 million.
