Britain's ambassador to the U.S. abruptly resigned on Wednesday.
Kim Darroch, 65, is the subject of leaked emails in which he called the Trump administration "inept" and "chaotic."
In response, President Donald Trump called Darroch "wacky," "incompetent" and a "very stupid guy."
"The current situation is making it impossible for me to carry out my role as I would like," Darroch wrote in his resignation letter.
