Bristol Myers Squibb plans $1.5B in cost cuts

Bristol Myers Squibb announced plans to cut $1.5 billion in costs by 2025.

The money it saves in the initiative would be reinvested in drug development, according to company officials.

During the first quarter, the company reported an adjusted loss per share of $4.40.
