Brexit fears send pound to 31-year low

The British pound fell to its lowest level in 31 years Tuesday on continuing fears over Brexit.

In early trading, the currency dropped to just above $1.27, lower than immediately after the United Kingdom voted to leave the European Union in June.

Top worries for investors include British exporters finding it difficult to compete in Europe and the country's banks losing the ability to do business freely across the region.
