Brewer Science expanding in Rolla

Brewer Science Inc. expects to add 65 jobs and qualify for $1.1 million in Missouri Quality Jobs tax incentives through construction of a new manufacturing facility in rural central Missouri.

The Rolla-based company, which produces materials for smartphones and tablet computers, plans to expand its operations at the Rolla National Airport during the next five years, according to KMOV.com. The state Department of Economic Development incentives would kick in should Brewer Science meet employment salary and health benefit standards.

The company says the new employees would produce specialty materials used in microelectronics.
