Brew Hub picks site for $20M Chesterfield brewery

Posted online
A former Anheuser-Busch executive is slated to begin construction this year on a $20 million brewery and packaging facility just west of the world’s largest beer maker.

Brew Hub, which in 2014 opened its first site in Lakeland, Fla., is awaiting approval from Chesterfield officials to open the second of five planned U.S. facilities, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

Operating as a contract brewer, Tim Schoen's Brew Hub produces beer from craft brewer recipes and assists the smaller companies with distribution, packaging and sales. The company also has a few products that are produced under its own brand.

The 71,000-square-foot Chesterfield brewery set to include a beer garden and tasting room would be capable of producing 75,000 barrels annually.
