Nathan P. Murphy’s owner Bob Martin receives an award April 2 from CoxHealth Community Education Coordinator Beth Keith. Martin received the award for the no-smoking policy at his downtown club. Breathe Easy – a community coalition working to improve wellness by reducing tobacco use and exposure – said in a news release that the club is the first downtown Springfield music venue to ban smoking.
