Breakfast speaker teaches hiring strategies

Hiring decisions can make or break a business.

To help companies fill their top positions, J. Dale Meier will present his lecture “Best Practices for Executive Search and Selection” on Thursday morning at the University Plaza Hotel Kansas Room.

The lecture, which is open to the public, is part of Missouri State University’s Breakfast with Champions series and will be held 7:30–9 a.m.

Meier is managing partner for St. Louis-based Grant Cooper & Associates. His practice has included top executive and general management disciplines in manufacturing and supply chain operations, professional services and telecommunications.

Meier has a bachelor’s degree in marketing and a master’s degree in counseling psychology from Southeast Missouri State University. He has published papers on the executive search process and a creative work on career change strategies.
