Branson's new act

Posted online
Branson Landing is officially open for business.

The official ribbon-cutting ceremony May 26 featured multiple guests, including Branson Mayor Lou Schaeffer.

Branson magician Darren Romeo, the master of ceremonies for the event, prepares the crowd as Branson High School Homecoming Queen Grace Lennon cuts the ribbon officially opening the Landing.

Rick Huffman, CEO of developer HCW Development, also was on hand. “I would like to refer to it as the first day of rent,” Huffman told the crowd.

Entertainment was provided, including the roping skills of Coydale Thomas, below, and rides on old-fashioned trolleys, below right, through the new shopping center.

More business is coming as only 48 of the 104 tenant sites are open.

A celebration ceremony is slated for June 16.[[In-content Ad]]
