Five Myer Hotels-owned properties in the Branson area have added high-speed Internet access, the company announced in a news release. Internet capabilities are available at Best Western Center Pointe Inn, Best Western Music Capital Inn, Comfort Inn at Thousand Hills, Comfort Inn & Suites and Comfort Inn West to meet the needs of business travelers, said Chris Myer, vice president of marketing, in the news release.
"Business travelers have a strong desire for high-speed Internet access," Myer said. "Leisure travelers are also requesting it."
Additionally, each hotel will be equipped with a computer in the lobby for visitors who don't have laptops but need to check e-mail or access information on the Internet.
"We are excited to offer this amenity to our guests," added Gail Myer, vice president of operations for Myer Hotels, in the release. "As the Internet has become woven into the daily routines of our society this is an amenity that people are expecting."
Wireless Internet access also is available in some of Myer Hotels' properties. Wireless cards are available for guests who need to borrow them.
"Part of our mission is to continually progress and exceed customer expectations. Adding high-speed Internet access to our hotels supports that mission statement," Chris Myer said.
Myer Hotels is a family owned Branson-based company started by Caroll and Janice Myer. The company has been in the lodging business for 37 years, serving Branson visitors for 20 years.
