Branson will be the site for the fourth annual Midwest Hospitality Expo.
The event will be held Aug. 24 at the Chateau on the Lake, according to a release from the Branson Lodging Association.
"This is the only event in the Midwest that we have found targeting the hospitality industry. We surveyed participants after last year's show and found that 70 percent of those that attended bought something as a direct result of the expo," said Chris Myer, one of the event's organizers, in the release.
The expo brings buyers and sellers together in one place to view products and services related to the tourism industry. The trade show will open at 9 a.m. and close at 4:30 p.m., the release said.
This year, a luncheon at the trade show will feature Bill Fisher, president and chief executive officer of the American Hotel and Motel Association.
The event will be open to all tourism-related businesses.
For more information or to attend
the luncheon, call Myrna Price at 332-1400.
