The city uses the 24-hour line to provide information, answer questions and field concerns about Branson, its departments and its policies.
“We have been very pleased with the success of the request line because it gives all residents a chance to take an interest in the appearance, health and safety of our city,” said Jerry Adams, Branson public information director, in a news release.
Most calls last year were about improvements needed on city property and violations of property maintenance codes, according to the release.
The city tries to respond to each request within five working days. If a problem is not resolved in that time, the city keeps the caller informed about the progress and completion of the repair.
City employees are asked to phone in concerns as they travel throughout the city, and all city vehicles display “Call It In” stickers.
The request line number is (417) 337-8502.
